Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles

I haven't blogged since I left the US 6 months ago, mostly because my culinary explorations have not been that interesting.  However I did make these truffles, and when I went to make them again I couldn't find the recipe, so now that I found the recipe I want to make sure I don't lose it again.  So yes, these truffles were a big hit and definitely worth making again- it goes over especially well with the raw cookie dough crowd.  Anyway, the recipe:

 Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
14 oz can sweetened, condensed milk
3/4 cup chocolate chips
More chocolate chips for dipping

Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar.  Add vanilla, then the flour and milk, then the chocolate chips. (Side note- I chopped the chips just a bit, because otherwise they were a bit big proportionately to the truffle size).
Roll the dough into balls, chill for about an hour, and then take them out and coat in melted chocolate.

When I made these the dough was a bit sticky, so coating my hands in flour helped a lot.  I also ended up chilling the dough, then rolling it into balls, then re-chilling before chocolate covering it.

Super easy, super good.
